Women toady have made their presence felt in significant way in nearly all the key positions Even on Instablogs you can feel the heat of changing image of Indian women carved in progressiveness.

No need for you people to be hyper sensitive about the plight of Indian women. We are taking all steps to improve their position in Indian society. In fact, Indian women are ensuring for themselves a better place all by their own. There are certainly very bad patches but don’t worry everything be all right sooner or later. There are many institutions working in that direction.

Lastly, save your energy for discovering flaws in your society. I am really irritated by the way bloggers from Pakistan have consistently tried to malign and criticize Indian culture, economy, religious beliefs whatever, when its a known fact globally in what pathetic state Pakistan is at present! I don’t understand why they are so bothered about female plight in India, when the state of women is far worse in their own country. In India, poverty is the prime factor which forces a woman to take any extreme step, unlike Pakistan, where the chauvinistic and Taliban like mentality of the male folks is the prime factor behind it. We are indeed trying very hard to help the women of our country, and the day is not far when such mindset will be changed.
